Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Mejona Technology LLP, Patna, Bihar – 800014, India (“Crugex”, “we”, “us”), governing your use of crugex.com and the Crugex platform — courses, practice, the Q&A commons, assessments, profiles, and related services (the “Service”).

By creating an account or using the Service, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

• The Service is intended for students and recent graduates of educational institutions in India.
• If you are under 18 years of age, you may use the Service only with the verifiable consent of a parent or lawful guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf.
• You must provide accurate, current information and keep it updated. Impersonation of another person or institution is prohibited.

• You are responsible for your handle, credentials and all activity under your account. Tell us immediately at support@crugex.com if you suspect unauthorized use.
• One person, one account. Multiple or transferred accounts may be suspended.
• You can delete your account at any time. See our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data afterwards.

• XP, levels, streaks and badges are loyalty records of your activity on the platform. They have no monetary value, cannot be bought, sold or transferred, and expire with your account.
• XP is awarded for genuine activity we witness. XP awarded for activity later found to be faked (self-answers via alt accounts, scripted check-ins, automated farming) will be reversed and may lead to suspension.
• Certificates state only what you completed on the platform, and attest solely to witnessed assessments. They are not a degree, diploma, or professional licence, and are not affiliated with any university or board.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• post, share or transmit content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, infringes anyone's intellectual property or privacy, or spreads misinformation likely to cause harm;
• cheat on assessments — including outsourcing answers, using unauthorized tools during timed attempts, or sharing assessment content after the fact;
• farm XP or streaks through fake, automated or bad-faith activity (including answering your own questions via alternate accounts);
• impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your college, employer or affiliation;
• scrape, reverse-engineer, overload, or interfere with the Service or its security measures;
• harass, stalk, or threaten other members of the commons.

These rules exist because every entry in your ledger is only as trustworthy as the people writing it. Violations can lead to removal of content, reversal of XP, revocation of Verified skills and certificates, and suspension of your account.

• You own what you write and upload. We claim no ownership of your questions, answers, notes or projects.
• You grant Crugex a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce and display your content solely to operate and promote the Service — including displaying accepted answers and proof entries on your profile and, if you grant access, to recruiters you approve.
• You are responsible for having the rights to whatever you post. Do not post copyrighted course material you are not licensed to share.
• We may remove content that breaks these Terms or applicable law. If you believe content was removed in error, use our Grievance channel.

The Q&A commons contains user-generated content. As an intermediary under India’s IT Act and the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, we do not pre-screen content, but we act on reported violations — removing content and, where warranted, accounts. Our Grievance Officer’s details and response timelines are published on the Grievance page.

• A skill is marked Verified only after you pass a timed assessment taken on the platform. Scores and timestamps are recorded as evidence; a recorded score is not independent proctoring or identity verification.
• We may re-examine or revoke a Verified status, certificate, or account if evidence of cheating, impersonation or fraud emerges — even after issuance.
• Certificates certify completion and witnessed performance. They do not guarantee any job, interview, internship or outcome.

• Recruiters and colleges access your profile only under the visibility you choose. You can change or revoke visibility at any time.
• We do not guarantee interviews, offers, employment or any hiring outcome. Matching surfaces candidates; hiring decisions belong entirely to employers.
• Recruiters and colleges are bound by separate agreements with us that prohibit resale or re-use of your data beyond evaluation.

The Service is free for students. We intend to keep it that way, and to charge only recruiters, colleges, or optional extras. If paid offerings launch, their price, renewal and refund terms will be shown clearly before you pay, and this page will be updated. Anything you have already earned — your XP, certificates and proof — will never be paywalled.

• The Service, its design, code, brand marks and content (excluding your content) belong to Mejona Technology LLP and its licensors.
• You may not copy, rebrand or resell the Service, or use our brand marks without written permission.
• If you send us feedback or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use them without attribution or compensation.

• The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We disclaim all warranties not expressly stated in these Terms, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
• We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation; we do promise to fix issues promptly and communicate honestly.
• Nothing on the Service is legal, financial, medical or career advice.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mejona Technology LLP shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data or opportunities. Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) ₹100.

If your use of the Service, or your content, causes a claim against us by a third party (for example, a copyright claim over material you posted), you agree to cover our resulting losses, costs and legal fees, to the extent permitted by law.

• You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these Terms, create legal or security risk for the platform, or remain inactive for an extended period, with reasonable prior notice where possible.
• On termination, the licence to your content ends; however, content that was displayed to other users (like accepted answers) may persist in limited, attributed form or in backups for a wind-down period.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from them or from the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Patna, Bihar, India — without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights that may apply where you reside.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stay in force. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and pages expressly incorporated here constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced on the site (and by email to registered users) at least 7 days before taking effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated Terms.
