Is applying free?
Today, yes — applications, assessment retries and courses are free to start. Paid plans are aimed at recruiters and colleges, and if premium student extras launch, they're clearly labelled before you ever pay.
What does “PROVE” mean on a role?
PROVE tags are the skills that employer accepts as witnessed evidence — for example React or SQL. Pass that skill's assessment and the receipt attaches to your application automatically.
Can I apply without a verified skill?
Yes. Applications are open to everyone. But roles tagged PROVE shortlist by evidence first, so a witnessed skill is the fastest way to the top of the pile.
Who can see my profile?
Only what you grant. Your proof profile is private by default; verified hiring partners see it only under the access you allow. Profiles can include education details — there is no blanket college-hiding guarantee.
Do I need a degree or specific college?
No. Recruiters filter by what you've finished and proven — assessments passed, answers accepted, courses completed. Your college name is optional.
